Yes, that's true. With Pure Threads, Emma Watson is the "new designer" for Ferretti.

Actually, Emma is not properly THE designer. In fact, she's making a collaboration with Ferretti. She's no strange to fashion, in fact she had already designed a capsule collection for People Tree. The new project with Alberta Ferretti further confirms the actress's commitment to eco-fashion.

The collection is gipsy-inspired and, as reported by WWD, it seems that "Emma had a Jane-Birkin-in-the-Seventies-image in mind". Produced entirely in Italy, using eco-friendly materials and techniques, the collection will be availabre and sold exclusively on-line.
